Can a mezzanine support conveyor and packing stations?

Yes. We design the deck load for shelving, packing benches and conveyor, and leave openings where product drops between levels. Conveyor itself is coordinated with your integrator, and we match the steel to their layout.

How many levels make sense in a Shepherdsville distribution center?

With 32-40 ft clear, one or two levels are common. The answer depends on SKU count, order volume and how many pickers you run per shift. We model the options in a drawing so you can compare before choosing.

Will installation slow our peak season?

We plan to avoid that. Install dates are set with your operations team, and experienced installation crews we schedule and manage work in zones so picking and shipping continue.

What is the lead time?

It depends on deck size and fabrication schedules. We provide a schedule with the quote and confirm it once drawings are approved, so you can plan around your busy months.

Pick and Pack Mezzanines for Shepherdsville Fulfillment

E-commerce and 3PL operations here need pick faces for thousands of small SKUs. Spreading shelving across the floor eats space that pallet racking should use. A pick and pack mezzanine stacks that shelving on one or two levels.

We lay out pick paths, packing stations and conveyor drop points on the deck so orders flow toward shipping.

Using the Height in Big-Box Buildings

Tall buildings give you options: a single deck with tall shelving, or multiple levels for pick modules. We look at your order profile and building height, then recommend what fits.

Heat builds near the roof in summer. Packing stations upstairs should get fans or air movement, and any break room on the deck needs its own HVAC.
